Giant machines for gigantic business growth! We are happy and thankful that Barem Ambalaj, our customer from Turkey has been consistently growing his business since 2008. Such good news in difficult times is always like 'balm for the soul'. A brand new large-format Rapida 164 with six inking units, double coating and UV capability was installed just last year. Due to the immediate positive impact on the business, shortly afterwards, in early 2020, Barem Ambalaj ordered two more Rapida 164s.
The company has seen uninterrupted growth with three locations in Turkey.
The first of the two new Rapida's will be installed at the Tire/Izmir facility in May - June 2020 and the second at the Karaman plant in August 2020. Both presses are equipped with six inking units and a coater for conventional inks and coatings. They have special options for fast job changes and minimizing waste. These include DriveTronic SIS, fully automatic FAPC plate changer, a delivery extended by 3,900 mm and the QualiTronic ColorControl inline measuring and control system. All in all, the two Rapida 164s are the fourth and fifth presses Barem Ambalaj has purchased from Koenig & Bauer.
